Week 8 Thing 21
I can see using Storybird in Language Arts for writing. Having the kids select pictures/art work then come up with a story to go along with them would really have them use their creative juices. This can also be used instead of book reports. Students can retell a book they just read...extend it....or change the ending. I liked creating one. Also you can use it collaboratively. More than one person can add/create/write on one story. Talk about collaboration!

Week 5 Thing 12
Google Advanced Search will allow me to safely let the kids find information at their level. It will also help me when I am searching for things....only gives me appropriate leveled information! :)

Week 3 Thing 7
Wow! What a fun site! It was easy and so many options to choose. I took a picture of my new puppy Bear and tweaked it a little.

Week 3 Thing 6
Week 3 Thing 5-b
Let's try this again. In the Mixbook galleries I found a book that I feel would help with student's creative writing. Students are given selected photos...they can arrange them in any order. Then they compose a story to go along with the pictures

Week 3 Thing 5
Here is the smilebox I made of my new puppy! Creating it was really easy. Embeding it here was another story. I hope I did it right! If not...I will try it again! :)
